As we awaken each day, it’s like a reboot. As we wake up, we can start thanking God for all the blessings in our lives. During our morning prayer call, on our church conference call, Peggy shared with us a list of Fifty things she was so grateful for. She shared many things, big and small. Some of which we take for granted. Everything from a Sunrise to God’s Wisdom, Protection, and Blessings to fresh mercies each day for our friends and our family to clean water, clean air to supernatural strength to our morning cup of coffee. She leads out with the scripture:

Colossians 3:17, “Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks to the Father through Him.”

As she shared these things, I was inspired, and I felt a reboot into my day.

Just the way you reboot a computer from sleep mode. So it is with us as we awaken each day.

Every morning when we wake up, we wake up to a brand new day! And we can come expecting good things. What better way to start our day than reflecting on all the things we have to be grateful for?

In Psalm 100:4, we are told to, “enter His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise.” When we come to God, we are reminded of all the things we have to be thankful for.

During our Women’s brunch, Kim led us in this beautiful song, “Give me Jesus.” The words go, “in the morning when I rise, give me Jesus you can have all the world give me Jesus.”

As we arise each day and say, “Give me Jesus,” it is a springboard to all we have to be thankful for. As we reflect on all these things, praise starts to rise up in us. We put on our Garment of Praise (Isiah 61:10), and we are filled up to overflowing with thanksgiving and praise.

We wake up expecting good things to happen this day, and when it does, we will just start thanking Him and praising Him!!! As we reflect on all we have to be thankful for, we realize how small in comparison to the list of things we are lacking in We are reminded that our God is way bigger than any obstacle we may face.

As we reboot each day, we wake up, and we will lift our voices to Him with Thanksgiving Praise and Prayer

Psalms 5:3, “In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice I lay my requests before you, and I wait expecting”

Come expecting as we reflect on all He’s done and all the prayers He has answered. We are filled with a heart bursting with thanksgiving and praise.

So we come expecting…Knowing our future is in God’s hands…Knowing That all things are possible with God.

Knowing that He has a plan for us, Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”

Come expecting every day, knowing his wisdom, His guidance, His love, His supernatural strength, His mercies, His peace, His protection, and His favor is on us.

And remember to wake up each day and reboot, as you (Psalm 100:4) “enter His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise.”

And start your day with this scripture as you pray, (Colossians 3:17) “whatever I do, Lord, whether in word or deed, I do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
